Blood Stain Removal
A sign of the times is the threat posed by human blood stains on floors and in carpets and on walls and furniture. First responders as well as medical and dental professionals now have to wear gloves and other gear to protect themselves from HIV, hepatisis, and other diseases carried by blood. Property owners should not take risks and leave removal of blood stains to the Bio-Crisis professionals.
Bio-Crisis employees wear personal protective equipment and have received all applicable vaccinations. Until they arrive, stay out of the affected area, treat all bodily fluids as if they are contaminated, do not attempt to clean up the area, do not touch or handle items that might be contaminated with blood, and do not eat, drink, smoke, apply cosmetics, or handle contact lenses in the contaminated area.
If you have been exposed to potentially contaminated blood, the federal government recommends a post-exposure medical evaluation. Consult your local health department or family physician.
